Marni Spring is a manufacturer of high-precision, complex metal springs and wire forms. We’ve been in business for over 40 years. Our longevity is based on helping customers resolve spring problems via the most cost-optimal solutions.
Products
Our custom springs and wire forms are made from high carbon steel, stainless, alloy steel, and copper alloys. Usually, cross-sections are round or square, with a multitude of diameters available. Complex, high tolerance parts (up to + .001”) are an everyday occurrence. Our production volumes range from a few prototypes to millions of units.
Facilities & Equipment
We presently operate with one shift in an 11,000 sq. ft. facility. The company’s location has capacity for an additional 10,000 to 20,000 sq. ft.
Marni has thirteen coilers, fourteen payoff reels, two production grinders, six conveyor ovens, and a batch oven. Prototyping machinery and equipment includes seven hand coilers, eight kick presses, three hand grinders, a floor grinder, and an engine lathe. Customer tooling is done in-house on a mill, drill press, lathe, and surface grinder, as well as various hand tools.
Testing equipment consists of five different force testers and a variety of calipers, mics, verniers, gauges, and hand measuring instruments. Quality documentation includes SPC and CPK. See our page on machinery and equipment details.
